Momma Africa – The African Union

Being this month of March was Woman’s History Month, we thought it was only right to dedicate this blog to our Moms’. Host Big Perm having Haitian parents and me, DJ 360 having Jamaican parents, our mother’s roots from those islands are from Africa. That being said, we felt it was right to honor them by exploring Momma Africa’s current unified political climate.

African economic independence is heating up. Many African countries in the African Union have recently spoken of implementing the change and stop of colonial countries’ control over their minerals and resources indefinitely and completely. Each country will maximize growth from its own counties resources and manufacture more African products in Africa. They are beginning to create partnerships for the benefit of neighboring states as well as for the benefit of all in Africa.
